One of the most frustrating things for New York surfers in enduring long flat spells that conspire to make us loose our stoke and  get out of surfing shape.  There is nothing worse than having to shake off a weeks worth of rust from not surfing and all of the sudden be thrown into head high, cranking waves.  It’s what keeps many local surfers from taking the next step in their development:  Inconsistent waves and not enough practice.  Fortunately, there is a way to keep that stoke and stay in surfing shape at the same time with the Carveboard (www.carveusa.com).  Brad Gerlach and his father Joe came up with the idea for Carveboard™ almost ten years ago. The main objective was to create a board, which enabled beginners to pros, the ability to work on their surfing or snowboarding when the snow melts or the surf is flat....
